Took a short ride last night and like always I found some good and some not so good.  But nothing that bad that I would tell you to stay home if you called.  Not unless you are one of those people that have to have perfect conditions or you won’t ride at all.

Things didn’t turn out the way they forecasted yesterday…but it could of been alot worse.  We didn’t get the snow they called for and only saw a dusting to a inch at best yesterday.  We did get some drizzle, don’t panic it didn’t melt the snow and it did make it that the base is going to set up really good.  Everyone has been saying we needed it….well we got it and with the temps over the next few days and the light traffic the trails will be setting up a nice base.

It’s looking good for the week.  If you can get up I don’t think you will be disappointed.  Also take note of the size of the snow piles from a few days ago till now.  This last round of snow really did make a difference.

Light snow on and off all day today and cold.  The lake effect event yesterday brought us about a foot of snow and really helped the conditions.  Yes I have seen it better than it is.  But I can tell you it is the best it has been this season so far and by looking at the forecast this week should just make things better.  Going to be cold tonight…calling for 17 below.

The DSL has been out most of the day at the motel and other places in town it has been on.  Go figure….all I can tell you is it really makes my day hard when it is out.

It’s been snowing most of the day and it looks like we are going to get a good amout over night into Sunday.
