Everything is coming together for this years SnoFest 2010 show on Saturday and Sunday. With the warm weather the trail conditions have gone down hill fast. But the Highway Dept has hauled snow in for the demo rides. Here’s todays video……….
Forecast is calling for it to drop down to 12 below tonight! Can you say………. “Freeze that lake over”! What can I say besides you couldn’t ask for a better weather pattern than we have been having. Pay attention to the end of todays video because there is something different for those of you that travel along the lake front this year.
that are wondering how much we got………I’d give it a half a foot. It is still snowing @ 3:30pm, but not that hard and it is settling down. So the snow level is not increasing.
Around noon you could see snow in the air and at 1:30PM the snow is coming down hard. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am EST Thursday and it is calling for up to 8″ of storm snow. That would be equall to over a foot or more of Lake effect snow. This is also the good kind of snow for putting a base back on the streets and is coming during the day so it will get packed down by the cars.
Sorry about no video yesterday and this one being so late. Had somethings that had to be taken care of at the motel over the weekend. Let’s just say that there are some new people on the black list!
Well it looks like a short warm up, but I wouldn’t be to worried about it at this point. As it is going to be short lived and then cold and snow right after it. I’ll keep you updated as I see the reports come in.
