Old Forge Snowmobile Trail Report
We picked up between 2 and 4 inches over night. It’s hard to tell for sure as the wind is blowing it all around. Forecast is looking good and I wouldn’t rule out this weekend as of yet. Took a ride up north street and the groomers are out, putting things back in shape after the warm up.

Update
The forecast has been updated and they are calling for 1 to 3 over night with high winds. Which will be firing up the lake effect snow gun! Don’t give up hope on this weekend as of yet as it is to far off to say it is going to be a wash. Wednesday is calling for snow most of the day and cold temps at night.

It was the night before………….
snowmobile season was to get underway for the year. Yes SnoDeo is the kick off weekend of the year. But the day after Christmas has always been the time of the year when we start to see poeple coming to Old Forge on any given day of the week to ride. This year isn’t any different than any other except that we have a good base started for the season this year. It looks like we might have some stormy weather on Saturday but after that it looks like a good Christmas week will be had by all.
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Thank You for all the well wishes,
Steve
Merry Christmas To All!!
Just had some guests come back from riding and there is snow on the underside of thier sleds. He told me the roads still have a covering on them and the trails are in good shape. Just a few wet spotsa here and there but nothing to get wound up about. With the temps dropping down to 2 tonight they will be frozen over fast.
