Old Forge Snowmobile Trail Report
As you will see in the video we had some of that R stuff yesterday. Forecast is looking good and things should be coming back around here very quik. Hope you are enjoying the new cam. It has been a fun project and now I have to start thinking of the next thing to try.

Just in, We could see 5- 10+ INCHES of snow Monday and Monday night. I’m coming up tomorrow. 3-6 inches during the day Monday. Then 2-4+ or 3-6inch Monday night.This storm was a blizzard in the west. Lake effect with it too. This storm will cover roads so I can go. Gust up to 30 mph. Did you lose a lot of snow? What is the Temp?

Not to give another forcast but I just check weather.com and they just posted up a winter strom warning with the potential of 8-16 inches of snow. Hope that comes cause it looks like the R will create a great base. Should be in good shape soon. Have fun riding for those of you up there!

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW… WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM MONDAY TO NOON EST TUESDAY FOR NORTHERN HERKIMER COUNTY.
A COMPLEX STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE REGION THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING WITH SNOW BEGINNING LATE TONIGHT… BECOMING HEAVY MONDAY INTO MONDAY NIGHT… BEFORE TAPERING OFF ON TUESDAY MORNING. BY THE TIME THE SNOW TAPERS OFF ON TUESDAY MORNING… SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 16 INCHES ARE EXPECTED. IN ADDITION… AN ARCTIC FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION MONDAY NIGHT AND NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING RESULTING IN CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. I see you got snow. Old Forge could see a half of a foot all the way up to a foot+. It will make the trails a Blast. Heavy snow this after noon and tonight.

Mostly cloudy with snow showers likely in the morning… then partly sunny with a chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 8 to 16 inches possible. Much colder with highs around 6 above. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of snow 70 percent. Wind chill values as low as 20 below.
