Old Forge Trail Report
Thank goodness I am able to write things in as I am always forgetting to say something in the videos. Don’t plan on any road riding as the roads are toast. I did the snow bank bounce last night to get in and out from the motel. But the trails sure made up for it last night. Here’s todays video……….
Did 95 miles today from 2:30PM-9:30PM including alls tops with my girlfriend slowing me down..lol Don’t go south - even though they groomed 6 it’s beat and worn and all the road crossings and riding is not worth it. The tracks or bust! The tracks are passable but bumpy and only 1 trestle was fully exposed (the one just before Old McKeever Station heading south). Went to Big Moose Station for lunch (awesome cheese steak again Rick - thanks) and then 7 to 6 but that was a mistake and event hough Trackside trails were good around White Lake Inn everything was toast and overall far worse than Thursday due to the traffic increase……weekend warrior suckers,,,,,lol I’m out for the year but will come up to beat the new sleds on the 12th, 13th, 14th….lol
